Have you ever wondered if you could manifest your looks? Curious if you can use the law of attraction to help with your acne, weight loss goals, hair growth and to just look your best? The answer is YES, you can!
First, you must know that you are ALREADY gorgeous and perfect! I would never want someone to come to my page and leave feeling as if they are not enough. YOU ARE ENOUGH. However, you can still do this. I know this, because I did it.
The first time I did this was on accident. I grew up with bullies telling me I had a big nose. However, I didn’t believe it. I would internally laugh and eye roll when they would taunt me. I would go home and tell my mom what they said and she would assure me how perfect my nose was. I continually told myself my nose was perfect for my face.
Looking back? I realize my nose was a lot bigger than I realized it was. However, I WHOLE HEARTEDLY believed it fit my face perfectly. And now? it does. Take a look: my nose all the way up until I was 22 and then my nose now at 27. And before you ask, NO I have not had any work done.
When I was 23, I continuously was asked if I had a nose job. I assured everyone I had not and it took a while for me to notice the change. When I looked at photos of just a year before, I was shocked to see the difference. What you believe about your life and yourself; becomes your reality. I believed my nose fit my face perfectly, so eventually: it did.
The SECOND instance of using the Law Of Attraction for my appearance was this past year. I had been quit confident in my looks. I was naturally tan, with long hair and clear skin. I was nice to myself. I was happy. In June of 2019, I had a really big falling out with my mother. A lot of my childhood trauma was brought back up and I went into a bad mental health state.
Instead of being kind to myself, my lack of a mother figure turned into me feeling unvalidated and self loathing. I developed a severe problem with being self deprecating and being pure evil to myself. My skin would break out from the stress and I would obsess over it and pick at it. It just got worse. My skin was aging, fast. My hair was thinning and falling out.
Even though my dad is dark skinned (giving me a natural tan my entire life) it seemed that all of a sudden, I was pale. PS. Nothing was with pale skin, it is so beautiful! I just went from a natural tan to looking very unlike myself. I would lay out all day and nothing happened. Here are photos of me 6 months apart.
Then, something happened. I snapped out of it. I realized how horrid I was being to myself. I put myself into therapy (I use online therapy for only $35 a month). It changed my life. I recommend EVERYONE trying it out. I don’t even have to call someone, it’s a live chat. Venting to my therapist and the homework assignments she gave me lead to a fast healing from my childhood trauma. Processing your negative emotions are a must for manifesting your dream life. If you try to pretend you are fine when you feel bad, you’re going to bottle that up until you burst. Let it out. Let it process. Let yourself heal.. so you can finally let it go.
BECOME your BIGGEST cheerleader and MEAN IT. You know the way you talk to your best friend or sibling when they are being hard on themselves? Do that. Find a way to just love yourself. If you aren’t a fan of how you look right now, find respect for yourself in your work ethic and your heart. Respect yourself so much that you couldn’t imagine being so evil. I truly believe the way you speak to yourself is the most important aspect of manifesting your looks and life.
Give yourself positive affirmations! I put post it notes on all of my mirrors that say I am beautiful, I am healthy and in shape, I am my best self. Find sentences that work for you and put them everywhere. I also (sounds silly, but it works) named my favorite plant after myself. That way, everyday I tell it: Lindsay, you are so strong and growing everyday! You are beautiful and will make it through anything. Sound silly, but it has really helped affirm it to myself and manifest it through the universe.
You also need to let go of needing/wanting to look like anyone else. Stop looking up to people/influencers that make you feel like you need to be someone else. If your vision board is covered in other people’s bodies and faces, you are hurting yourself. When you want to manifest looking like YOUR best self and NOT like someone else: magic happens. You can’t use the law of attraction to look like a celebrity, you can use the law of attraction to look like YOUR best self. Put YOURSELF on your vision board.
Gratitude journal about how much you love YOUR body RIGHT NOW. Be grateful for how you look now. Show appreciation for what you have and watch it become it’s best. Love your body for carrying you through life. Love you face for smiling at others. Love your SELF.
Next, stop obsessing. When I obsessed over my acne, pale skin and thinning hair: it got worse. It got worse so quickly. What you focus on expands. So if you focus on what you hate or dislike about yourself: it will continue to get worse. When I focused less on my looks and more on loving myself: it all went away.
Lastly, take inspired action. When you learn to love yourself, you will want to give yourself the best. It makes you WANT to move your body, eat fueling foods, take care of your skin, take vitamin, etc! Action = results. Take care of yourself the way you would take care of your loved ones!
Love yourself, learn to cheer yourself on and find gratitude for what you have.
Now, my hair is growing again. My skin is clear, youthful and glowing. My tan is back and I’m outside way less, I love myself and I know I will keep learning to love more of myself.
You are stunning. You are beautiful. Recognize that NOW and love yourself NOW to see results. Don’t think you have to look a certain way to love your self, or you will never feel enough.
